The farmland
Quiet and relaxing
The cottage
A little gem is a one floor cottage located in the farmland on the hill. The hill faces east so there is plenty of sun through the day. The cottage has one bedroom, one bathroom, living area and a kitchen within 35 square meters. Outside there is a terrace with sunbeds and a sunumbrella, table and chairs. The cottage can be accessed from the main road going uphill or from the small village road going downhill.
The view
The position on the hill is low enough that there isn't too much trouble going to and from the sea level, yet high enough to offer a fantastic view over the sea, the village and the boats coming in and out of the bay.
Walking trail
The trail between the cottage and the main road beneath is unpaved and goes through the nature. This property is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.
Parking
We do not allow taking the car directly to the cottage because the road is steep and narrow. Instead the car can be parked on a private parking by the local road above the cottage. On your arrival we will drive you and your luggage to the cottage with our car, and back up on your departure.
Location
Perfectly located
A little gem is located in Zaton Bay, only 10 kilometers away from Dubrovnik. That is only 10 minutes away from the city and only 30 minutes away from the airport. The bay is peacefull and has everything from shallow beaches on the sea level to a beatiful landscape on the top of the hill.

Everything is close by
Supermarkets
There are two supermarkets on the main road, only a couple of minutes of walking downhill. They are open everyday from 07:00 until 21:00.
Restaurants
There are several restaurants in the walking distance around Zaton Bay. The two closest are called Vala and Dandy and they are located beneath the main road, by the sea.
Pharmacy
There is a pharmacy located on the main road, next to closer supermarket.
Swimming
It is only a quick downhill walk to get to the sea. There are several beaches around the bay to choose from.
Money exchange
Money can be exchanged at the post office in Zaton Veliki. There is an ATM in front of both supermarkets.
Fuel station
The nearest fuel station is located at the end of Zaton village, on the left side when travelling towards Split.
Getting around
There is a bus stop on the main road which is a couple of minutes of walking away. Buses operate every one hour. Taxi transfer can be arranged on request.

Zaton Bay is a great base for walking, swimming, hiking, kayaking, snorkelling, taking trips... to name but a few!

Friendly owners with an easy reach
We are available for any help during your stay at all times. We live on the opposite side of the bay from where the cottage is and therefore we are only minutes away in case of any problems.
Airport transfer
Collection from the airport can be arranged on request. We will take you directly to the cottage, so there isn't any trouble with luggage. We will also show you the area along the way. Transfer back to the airport can also be arranged.
Boat trips
We can help you organize any boat trips to the Elaphiti islands with an organized tour on a big ship or a private tour on a small boat or a speedboat.
Rent a kayak
Kayaks with full equipment can be rented at our house on the opposite side of the bay.
